Research:
I am currently interested in pursuing study of course 20 (Bioengineering), as well as course 12 (Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences). Within the Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences, I am most interested in the fields of geobiology and environmental systems.
Throughout my first term in the Summons Lab, I will be working with Dr. Benjamin Uveges on a project studying stable isotopes of sulfur and their characterization of microbial response to ocean anoxic events. This project will initially focus on the visualization and analysis of previously collected sulfur isotope data.
Beyond my coursework, I am deeply passionate about sustainability, and am currently actively participating in organizations like UA Sustain and the Rapid Response Group. I am also a member of the Terrascope first year learning community.
